The Challenge

Create a more contemporary logo while keeping elements of the original logo.

Our Strategy

Our team wanted to ditch the everything except for the red color and plane used in the original logo. We went with a more contemporary font for the company name. The font didn’t have a dated feel like the script font previously used. The plane was carried over to keep the essence of what they do, fasteners for aeronautics. A globe was incorporated to stress the range of the company’s reach in the aeronautical field. From government agencies to personal aircraft, Skybolt’s reach was global. We feel this logo successfully conveys that.
